Moms Centered in Christ: A Powerful Force for Good

Moms who are centered in Christ are a force to be reckoned with. The strength we carry isn’t our own—it’s the POWER of Christ working in and through us. But here’s the truth: it’s not always easy. I still struggle with this, even now. There are days when I feel the weight of it all, when fear and doubt creep in, and I question whether I’m enough. But then I remember something powerful—my worth is already set in Christ.

When I think back to those darkest moments with Chloe, I can still feel the weight of fear pressing on me. It was a time when I was constantly battling for her, fighting for her to be seen and heard, all while trying to manage my own emotions. There were many days I wondered if I was doing everything I could for her.

But then, during a particularly hard season, I had a moment of surrender. It wasn’t immediate, and it wasn’t easy, but it was REAL. I felt God say to my heart, "You don’t have to carry this on your own. I’ve already carried it for you."

That was the moment everything changed for me. I started to let go of the need to control it all. I realized that my worth wasn’t tied to being perfect or always having the answers. My worth was already set in Him. And from that moment, I began to walk with a new confidence—one that didn’t rely on my own strength, but on His. I began to see my strength, rooted in Christ, not as something I was trying to conjure up myself, but as the power that was already within me because of Him.

Scripture to Support the Power of Moms in Christ:

  1. Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
There were moments during Chloe’s struggle when I couldn’t hold it together. But every time I felt like I was sinking, God reminded me that
He was with me. He was upholding me. And that gave me the courage to keep fighting for her and for myself.

  2. Philippians 4:13
“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
It wasn’t until I let go of the weight I was carrying and started relying fully on Christ that I realized just how much strength He had already provided. God’s strength always met me in the moment I needed it most.
That’s the beauty of relying on Him.

  3. Romans 8:37
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”
As a WARRIOR MOM, I’ve had to face challenges that felt impossible. But in every trial, God showed me that
I am more than a conqueror. We are more than conquerors. You are more than a conqueror, momma, because He’s fighting for you and with you.

  4. 2 Corinthians 12:9
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
In those moments when I felt like I had nothing left to give,
God’s grace met me in a way I can’t fully describe. I learned that my weaknesses were not my downfall—they were where His power shined the brightest.

Helpful Tips for Moms Centered in Christ:

  1. Prioritize Quiet Time with God:
I know how easy it is to get caught up in the whirlwind of motherhood—there are always dishes to wash, kids to take care of, and a never-ending list of tasks. But I’ve learned that even five minutes spent in prayer or Bible reading can reset my heart. Start your day with a moment of peace, even if it’s brief. In those moments, God will equip you with what you need to face the day.

  2. Remember, You Don’t Have to Carry It All:
I remember the days when I felt like I had to handle everything myself, but that’s not true. I found myself physically and emotionally drained, trying to do it all without leaning on God. He’s been teaching me to
let go and let Him carry the load. Your worth is not tied to what you can accomplish; it’s rooted in who you are in Christ.

  3. Pray with Boldness:
One of the most powerful tools we have as moms is
prayer. But it’s not just the “perfectly worded” prayers that matter—it’s the honest, raw conversations with God. Pray over your kids, their struggles, their victories, and their futures. Prayer changes things, and when we pray in boldness and faith, God moves.

  4. Embrace Your Imperfections:
There were seasons I felt like I was failing as a mom. But I’ve learned that
God doesn’t need me to be perfect. He needs me to surrender. Perfectionism as a Warrior Mom is like wearing armor made of glass—looks tough, but one wrong move and it shatters! Perfectionism is never attainable. When I embrace my imperfections and let go of perfectionism, I open myself up to His grace and power. Trust that your weaknesses are where His power shines through.

  5. Surround Yourself with Community:
This journey of motherhood was never meant to be walked alone. During Chloe’s struggles, I reached out to a close circle of friends and faith-filled women who prayed with me, encouraged me, and reminded me of God’s promises.
    Find your community—it’s life-changing.

  6. Take Time to Rest in Him:
I’m guilty of pushing through exhaustion and not prioritizing rest. But what I’ve learned is that rest is not a luxury; it’s a necessity.
Rest in His presence. Take a moment to just breathe, to quiet your mind, and allow God’s peace to renew you.

Closing Thoughts:

Moms, you are a force for good. You are empowered by Christ, and your influence stretches farther than you may realize. Yes, there are days when it’s hard, when you feel like you can’t keep going, but remember: your worth is set in Christ, and His power is made perfect in your weakness.

When you rise, your family rises with you. And that’s because you’re not walking this journey alone. God is with you. You are covered. You are chosen. You are walking in Kingdom authority, and there’s nothing more powerful than that.
